Non-Contact Radar Level Transmitter - Liquid & Solid

The Non-Contact Radar Level Transmitter family includes radars with frequency ranges of 6.3 GHz and 26 GHz pulse radar, as well as 80 GHz FMCW Radar. These radars come in various configurations and process connections to meet specific customer requirements. Known for their proven performance and high level of customization, these Radar Level Transmitters are widely used and are in high demand among our customers.

Key Models & Frequencies :
1. CW 80 GHz FMCW Series (e.g., CW 59X, CW 59S, CW 59L)
  • Principle: 76–81 GHz FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave).
  • Beam Angle: Ultra-narrow beam (down to ~3° to 4°), avoiding internal vessel obstructions, long nozzles and sidewall buildup.
  • Measuring Range: Standard ranges up to 30 m / 70 m, expandable up to 80 m or 120 m for tall silos.
2. CW 26 GHz Pulse / FMCW Series (e.g., CW 5X Series)

  • Principle: 26 GHz microwave pulse / continuous wave.
  • Beam Angle: Typically, 8° to 22° depending on antenna diameter.
  • Antenna Styles: Horn antennas (SS316L, 48 mm to 123 mm), PTFE-shielded antennas, or sealed rod antennas.
  • Key Use Cases: Storage tanks, water/effluent sumps, corrosive chemicals, and moderate-range solids bins.

3D Radar Level Transmitter

Our 3D Radar Level Transmitters measures at multiple points inside the Silo / Bin and Stockpiles and solves the most critical of the problems for measurement of Level and Volume inside Silos storing Bulk Solids and Powders.

Major Challenges of Level and Volume Measurement of Bulk Solids and Powders

  • Uneven Surface Profile of the material
  • Heavy Dust Inside the Silo
  • Multiple Evacuation Points from the Silo
  • Maintenance of Device
  • Low Dielectric of the Material

Our 3D Radar Level Transmitter provides Average, Maximum, and Minimum levels, as well as Volume, Mass, and a Real-Time 3D profile of stored materials.

3D Acoustic Level Scanner

3D Level Scanner is an Acoustic continuous Level Transmitter that measures multiple points on a material’s surface, providing continuous, non-contact inventory volume measurement that accounts of irregular material topography. This advanced acoustic-based technology is proven to perform in powders and bulk solids contained in bins, silos, domes, warehouses, as well as open bunkers and piles. Unique 3D mapping capabilities provide a visual representation of bin contents, detecting cone up or down as well as sidewall buildup

The 3D Level Scanner solves the 3 major challenges of Level Measurement for Solids and Powders (where conventional methods are not able to solve the problem)

  • Uneven profile due to angle of repose
  • Heavy Dust
  • Maintenance

140 GHz Radar Level Transmitter

Our 140 GHz Radar Level Transmitter is the highest frequency radar level transmitter in the world. It has a 2° beam angle, which makes it great for tight spaces. It also includes a built-in 2-axis inclination sensor. It works best in applications where materials fill and empty quickly, like measuring molten metal up to 1600°C, handling high pressure, and working with tricky materials like low dielectric substances. It’s perfect for silos, bunkers, and liquids with mixers, fumes, and vapors. Having such a strong energy and narrow beam, it doesn’t need any air purge for cleaning.

Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

The Non-Contact Ultrasonic Level Transmitter is a versatile family of devices that operates with a frequency range measured in kilohertz (KHz). Our ultrasonic transmitters come in various configurations and process connections tailored to meet your specific needs. They offer a cost-effective and reliable solution for accurately measuring levels in non-aggressive liquids and slurry applications.

Silo Pilot Level Transmitter

The Electro-Mechanical Silo Pilot Level Transmitters are one of the earliest technologies used for continuous level measurement. Many customers still prefer them due to their sturdy design and easy maintenance. A standout feature of our Silo Pilot is its ability to measure solids that are submerged in liquids.

Guided Wave Radar – Liquid & Solid

Guided Wave Radar utilizes time domain reflectometry (TDR) to continuously measure the distance, level, and volume of powders or solids in bins, tanks, and silos. This sensor features hazardous location approvals, a very small upper dead zone, and assures highly accurate level measurement in low dielectric materials down to 1.3. It has 4 -20 mA HART making it compatible with your HMI or PLC
